Re: "Why is apple account deactivated : My apple account was deactivated"

Wondering who deactivated your account ?

As part of putting you in control of your data and privacy, Apple gives you the ability to temporarily deactivate your Apple ID account at any time and for any reason. Access to this feature may vary by country or region.

This article (link below) provides information and answers to common questions about temporarily deactivating your Apple ID account. Make sure you read the entire article to understand what happens when your Apple ID is deactivated.

See : How to deactivate your Apple ID account - Apple Support

Above article also says: Can I reactivate my account?

Yes. If you request account deactivation, you'll receive a unique alphanumeric access code. When you're ready to reactivate your Apple ID, contact Apple Support, provide your access code, and we’ll help you reactivate your account. If you lose this code, we won't be able to help reactivate your account.

Else: If you or no-one who uses your iPhone deactivated the account temporarily:

Then: See What to do: If your Apple ID is locked, not active, or disabled - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"If your account has been disabled for security reasons" "If you see one of the following messages,

your Apple ID automatically locked to protect your security and you can't sign in to any Apple services":

  • “This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons”
  • "You can't sign in because your account was disabled for security reasons"
  • "This Apple ID has been locked for security reasons"

You or someone else might have entered your password or other account information incorrectly too many times. "To regain access, you need to reset your password.
