My IPhone 13 is stuck on verifying update, tried hard shutdown will not slide off!

you can Force Restart,

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

If your iPhone won't turn on or is black /frozen / stuck

If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support
