Accidently deleted Safari reading list

Ok, I'm using Sonoma 14.6.1 and have deleted my reading list. I went to system preferences, turned off sync safari in iCloud. Restored bookmarks from yesterday's time machine backup. Opened Safari, and my reading list is there. In system preferences turned on sync Safari in iCloud and poof all my saved articles are gone again. Is there a way to back the reading list up or the bookmarks without using time machine and to import them back in?

Well I got it back and it took some work. In system preferences where you turn off Safari sync that's what I did. Then used time machine to restore, than created a bookmark in a favorites folder I named Reading list so I saved each of them in that folder. Went back turned on safari iCloud sync. That erased my time machine back up so now I could go to the folder I had created and save each of those back to my reading list. More than one way to skin a cat!
