emails are different. How to fix

My Windows desktop rebooted and it came up showing an apple page. It let me merge something but I saw it has an email address (one I used when first signing up probably) showing that is different from the email associated with my iphone apple account. Afaik, I only have one apple account. Problem is, I don't know my password for the one showing up on my computer in order to do things, like change the address to where only one is being used. I'm a little afraid to tell it that I don't know my password because of the 2 addresses. What should I do?
