Suspicious Apple support

Apple support was trying to help me reboot my MacBook Pro. But he informed me that someone was trying to use my Apple ID to make a purchase. Next, He wanted me to make the purchase. I was not willing to put my credit card information into the requested page. He said that I would not be charged anything but here I am being asked to give credit card information and the CVV number. Plus he was asking that the purchase be $250 because that is the amount that the intruder was using to steal from my Apple ID. None of this has anything to do with restoring my MacBook.

It certainly sounds as if you were not actually talking to Apple Support. If you provided financial information, contact your bank immediately. If you allowed them access to your computer, change all passwords that may have been used on that computer.
