Panic when MacBook is put in sleep and Touch Bar flashing illogically.

Every time my MacBook Pro (2019 - Intel) is put in sleep mode, we I try to wake it, it just restarts and gives the following report (first line only - Report is a lot longer):

The Touch Bar only works if the computer is left unplugged overnight, otherwise it just goes blank or will flash with no logical pattern (as if there is a lose connection). Apple have had a look at the Touch Bar and tested it. They found no problems but have seen a video of the issue. They think it is related to MacOS and some old code from previous versions and advised I wipe my computer and reinstall the OS, but then there is the whole other issue with the sleep and restarting. I think wiping the computer is a bit drastic, and I don't particularly want to do that. Any other advice?

Hi,

But your issue is caused by old libraries in macOS, you should reformatting and reinstall macOS after backup your data, and make sure your keychain in iCloud back up.

Use macOS Recovery on an Intel-based Mac – Apple Support (AU)

Also try to run Apple Diagnostics if your issue is caused by video hardware related trouble.
