I have been trying to add my cards to Apple Pay and it keep saying card not added

I am unable to add any card to Apple Pay, as it keeps declining each attempt. I’ve tried multiple cards, all of which are valid and active, but none seem to work. Despite following the steps provided by Apple’s support, the issue persists, preventing me from using the service.

Apple Pay and the banks that support Apple Pay require higher security standards and methods than Samsung Pay. So, it’s basically irrelevant that you added it to Samsung Pay.

Your banks need to find out why Visa is not sending the tokens. Have you had any fraud alerts on your accounts in the last 12 months?

What is the history of the iPhone? You said you bought it a couple of weeks ago. Did you buy it from Apple and if not, who did you purchase it from?

How new is your Apple ID? Is it in good standing?

Samsung Pay and Google Pay use a different type of token than Apple Pay. Not sure where you are getting the Apple ID flag part. Information about your device usage and your Apple ID are made available to the banks and the TSP (Token Service Provider). The information can lead to either the bank or TSP marking your verification as Red Flow. This is an automatic denial.

What country are you in? Do you use a VPN or ever had VPN software on your device?

I also am having this issue and I can’t add any card from any provider. To test to see if it’s my bank or not, I added the cards to my Samsung Pay wallet and sure enough every single one of them added without fail.

For me, I just bought this device a couple weeks ago. In the past the cannot add was my bank being weird. This time, none of the banks are even getting the request token from Visa Provisioning.

Apple says it’s a bank issue, bank says it’s an Apple issue. Not helpful.

I bought the device from Verizon. No fraud alerts. When I first got the device a few weeks ago I was able to add cards as I please, then I removed them down to only what I needed in there and it just stopped letting me add after that.

Confused how it’s not relevant regarding Samsung Pay (and even Google Wallet) because they both utilize Visa Provisioning. I find it hard to believe they will wave the cards through on a Samsung device but block them on an iPhone.

Apple from what I was told doesn’t have any play in approval or denial outside of an Apple ID flag which I have verified that I don’t have.
