If an iPhone, iPad, or iPod is connected, disconnect it and see if the CPU usage drops. Sometimes, connection issues or sync problems can cause AMPDevicesAgent to overwork the CPU.

Hi Kenny,
Basically, AMPDevicesAgent is a new device manager. It is used for backing up, restoring and updating your devices. This may appear: When you sync your devices over Wi-Fi. When you connect your iPad or iPhone for the first time to your Mac with a USB cable.

Thanks,,
I was just concerned with how much of my CPU it was using.

Take care my friend, if it doesn't calm down post back.:)
