I have a MacBook Air from 2017 and I want to reinstall the OS, I have the disk reformatted already. I have poor internet connection so it’s ideal to reinstall the OS without internet connection. The only other laptop I have is a Windows machine with good internet connection. Please help me with this.
You might be able to use Recovery Mode:

If that doesn't work and you've already erased the drive, you don't have an Internet connection, and don't have access to another Mac, then there will be no way you can reinstall macOS yourself. You'll need a friend with a Mac so you can build a USB installation drive, or you'll need to take your Mac to a service center who can help you get the operating system reinstalled.
