rounding fractions in Numbers

I am creating a spreadsheet in Numbers for roof framing. the design is simple. some of the returned data is fractional. it is not usable to me because the fractions are sometimes such as this 26/33. I need the returned data in fractional terms to be in halfs, quarters, eighths, or sixteenths. in other words, I need the returned data from formulas to be usable on an imperial tape measure. thanks

Something like this maybe, as long as all the results are positive numbers:

=MROUND(your_current_formula,1÷16)

From where are your data returning? What are your input data? Perhaps from an imperial tape measure to a Numbers table?

What are your formulas?

More information (and a screen shot showing your table with formulas) may help us to help you.

Ian.
