When I connect my AirPods Pro to my iPhone I can't hear anything. They have been working normally since I got them. All of a sudden they aren't working anymore. I have tried turning off my iPhone.

Try forgetting the AirPods in Settings > Bluetooth, then reconnect them. Also, check the volume levels and ensure your AirPods are selected as the audio output device.
If that doesn't work, reset the AirPods by holding the setup button on the case until the light flashes amber, then white

Thank you, Jane. Those are some good suggestions. I'm going to upgrade my iPhone to iOS 18 before I try them though. Maybe upgrading to iOS 18 will solve the problem.
