"Health" is an inexact and non-linear number. What was your % when the phone was new?

Individual batteries can range from 98-102% health when new due to the vagaries of chemical processes and battery production. "100%" is based on an AVERAGE capacity of all batteries of one model. My iPhone SE 2020 started with 102%; "average" means some soul out there got one that was 98%.

A rough rule of thumb is that, with normal usage patterns, capacity drops at a rate of about 1% per month. Note "about." Remember, capacity is too inexact to be called a "metric."

Things to consider:

  • Allowing the battery to repeated run to zero charge can reduce its capacity. I recharge when remaining charge is between 20 and 40%.
  • Capacity can decrease faster if you practice a random or inconsistent charging pattern.
  • Developing a consistent charge pattern allows the phone to learn the pattern for better battery life before replacement is needed.

My SE is 34 months old and charges every night on a QI charger. Its health as this moment is 86%.

I also see you are running a beta version of iOS. Hard to judge when the final incarnation has yet to be released.
