What can I do to keep my apps on my iPad 2022 and to delete most of the apps on the iPad Pro 2018?

Hello,

I have bought another iPad 2022 10.9 besides my iPad Pro 2018 10.5

The pro I will give to my companion, who lives with me, and the IPad 2022 I will keep myself.

But now I have installed on the iPad 2022 the same programs as on my Pro. But if I delete the programs on my pro, will I delete the programs on my iPad 2022?

What can I do to keep my programs on my iPad 2022 and to delete most of the programs on the iPad Pro 2018?

Hope you can give me advise what to do. Because I really don’t know what to do.

Have a nice day

Nic

Every user of Apple devices should have their own AppleID. This is essential to maintain intended separation of activities and to avoid unintended sharing of sensitive and data. Similarly, you should properly prepare the iPad that you intend to give to your Companion. Once properly prepared, your Companion can set-up the iPad as best meets their own preferences and needs - and should you choose to do so, you can share purchased Apps and Apple service subscriptions using Apple's Family Sharing.

Prepare the iPad

This step is essential to both ensure that your own personal and sensitive data private - and removes the Activation Lock that sooner or later will otherwise cause issues:

hey,

Because you have decided to give you iPad Pro to your companion just log out from your Apple ID from that device (iPad Pro),after that your iPad and your companions iPad will not work together so you can delete what every program you want from your iPad Pro but it will not get deleted from your iPad 2022.

Feel free to ask questions if you have any dought regarding this.

Thanks.
