Kid's Ipad FaceTime has my phone number and email, how to change?

I already setup my kids Ipad with their own email account and they are listed as a dependent under my apple account. They can text me from their Ipad but they cannot FaceTime me. When I look under the FaceTime under the Ipad it has my email and phone number listed, so essentially I am call myself when I try to FaceTime from the Ipad and will not connect. I cannot seem to edit this and when I try to update the contact information my kids information is not available under the contacts. How do I correct this?
