Apple Pencil pro won’t draw in procreate

I have an iPad Air 13in (m2) and the new apple pen. I bought procreate and a cheap pen from Amazon before I got the apple pen as I wasn’t sure I would like to draw. I liked it so I splurged and bought the Apple Pencil Pro and it WILL NOT DRAW in the app. It lets me tap things but not draw. My fingers draw and the old pen draws. So I have no idea why this is happening. I have tried every troubleshooting step for the iPad, apple pen, and the Procreate app. Which all did nothing. Apple said that it’s not on them and to contact the people from Procreate. I sent them an email and just waiting to hear back. I’m the mean time has anyone else had this problem??
