Block “No Caller ID” calls

Apple support incorrectly advised the 15 had done so but it seems impossible to block “No Caller ID” calls without also silencing calls not in your contacts list.

Apple makes the phone. Apple doesn't control or deliver calls which are directed to your phone. Apple does offer a feature to silence unknown callers, but that in no way blocks the call from being delivered to your phone, as it's not up to Apple to provide such a feature. It simply means the phone won't ring if the number is not in your contacts list.

It IS up to your carrier to help you block such numbers if you want. So, what did you carrier suggest when you asked them for help?

My carrier has a feature on their network called "Call Control

Call Control is a free, optional feature that automatically screens unwanted calls."

Spam calling went to 0 after I added it to my number via the carrier.
