I have a series 9 Apple Watch and a few months ago I noticed that when I put my watch on charge at night the always on display does not turn red, it is always green. Did apple removed that feature or is there a problem with the sensor on my apple watch.

When your Apple Watch is charging, the charging display shows red if the battery is below 20%, green if it’s above 20%, and yellow if it’s in low power mode.

That’s what apple support told me, I will have to check on that. Also for example when you charge your iPhone at night the Standby Mode will display everything in red when it is dark regardless of the battery percentage.

This exact same thing happened while charging my apple watch while charging it at night the display turned red so that it was easy on the eyes, unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore.
To my recollection, you cannot customize the Apple Watch nightstand mode, only on your iPhone.
