Blockpg-aloe.safezone.mcafee.com - how do i get rid of this

I have a MacBook air (2017). When you connect to the wifi (HOME network ONLY) currently receiving a message that says the internet is paused right now. Feel free to ask your network owner to unpause your internet. message has both mcafee and verizon labeling


  1. Device works fine on any other wi-fi connection.
  2. We do NOT have any MacAfee products installed on the device and had it checked by an apple certified tech to confirm that information.
  3. NO extensions in use
  4. We can NOT replicate the error on any other wi-fi network
  5. if you type a url directly into safari (only browser installed) it gives you a connection not secure
  6. if you try to bypass that message you get the original message described above
  7. Internet provider unable to assist with issue


Any suggestions?
