Activity monitor shows 48%+ being used by AKAuthorizationRemoteView...

When my MBP is bogging down, getting glitchy, I often check the Activity Monitor for clues as to what is going on. (I am preparing to transfer data from my aging 2012 MBP to a 2023 14" MBP.) I'm in the midst of cleaning things up, getting rid of stuff I don't need, etc. The Activity Monitor pretty consistently shows AKAuthorizationRemoteView... as consuming 48%+ of the CPU. I'm wondering what it is, why it's doing what it's doing, and if there is anything I can do about it. To be clear, I am still working on the 2012 MBP, running 11.7.1.
