My AirPods Max are connected, but there is no sound.
what to do if I have AirPods Max headphones connected, but no sound comes out of them despite playing music etc.

ensure the volume is up and they are selected as the audio output in Settings > Bluetooth.
Try disconnecting and reconnecting them or resetting the AirPods Max by holding the noise control button and Digital Crown for 15 seconds until the light flashes amber, then white.
If the problem persists, restart your device or try connecting to a different device to rule out any hardware issues
