How to ensure my orders are delivered safely

Hi, I’m about to order the 16 pro max and that type of money don’t come easy but it’s something I’ve been waiting for and kinda hoped for. My problem is all stores around me sold out and I’d have to ship it… to say the least I’m worried. It’s not that I’m in a terribly bad area but I just have trust issues. Does anyone have any stories that can ease my anxiety? I’m just scared there gonna just drop it at the door and dip or it’s just not gonna be there. I’d appreciate anything, love you all, have a gorgeous day!

Understand completely. I've felt the same way.

Unless you are in a rural area, you may be able to use a "hold at shipper" option. The package stays at that nearest office of the shipper. We live in a town of only 30,000, yet both UPS and FedEx have local facilities under 10 minutes from our location. I've picked up items that way before.

UPS have retail stores in accessible places like shopping centers. Shipping to one of those may be an option if you have such stores. Check with UPS so see what they can do before ordering.

For an iPhone, consider ordering through a carrier—Verizon; T-Mobile, etc. Most have retail stores where you should be able to do the transaction.

Otherwise call Apple and see what other options are available.

I've had the phone delivered to my door for every model since iPhone 6. And I've never had any issue with delivery. In the US, Apple uses UPS to deliver phones. In order to avoid an issue (like a visit from a porch pirate), make sure you or someone you trust is at your home to sign for the phone when it is delivered. Or as others are suggesting, order the phone online and ask for in store pickup and pick it up from Apple yourself.

I always use the Pickup at Store option. That's what I'm doing with my Watch 10. I've never had anything stolen from my porch but, yeah, it's a lot of money.
