Is it worth buying an iPhone SE (2020) in 2024?

This model was discontinued in March 2022, so it will be supported until at least 2027, and likely 2029.

Personally, I would look for newer model that is capable of 5G cellular performance....which would be an iPhone 12 or higher....but that is me.

we cannot know how long Apple will continue to support older devices or operating systems.

But, we can get a pretty good idea based on previous history of 15+ years.

Apple has always supported a model and software for at least 5 years after it has been discontinued, at which time it is classified as a "Vintage" product. Vintage products have always received an additional 2 years of support.

No guarantees of course, but 15+ years of consistency is worth some value.
