Dash Cam with CarPlay

Has anyone found a dash cam that works while still having the carplay connect wirelessly to my phone? I understand most cams have their own wifi - so please don’t mansplain that to me - but is there a dash cam out there that does work without having to disconnect my phone from the carplay in my car?

Unable to add Eve outdoor Cam to Homekit (2.4GHz Wi-Fi only) I purchased both a Homepod mini to function as a Hub, and an Eve outdoor cam. When trying to add this as an accessory to Homekit, I always get the response that the device is not found. When looking for resolutions online, I found that is due to the Camera only supporting 2.4GHz. I am unable to turn off the 5GHz frequency nor can I change the SSID name for the 5GHz (Google Wi-Fi mesh devices). My 2.4GHz coverage should be more than sufficient where the camera is placed, so how can I get round this problem? It's not possible to turn off 5GHz Wi-Fi on iPhone or iPad either.
