My computer is showing I'm in a different region and is not allowing me to stream anything local to me.

The location shown is derived from the public IP address of your router.
Are you using a VPN, or anything of that nature intended to obscure your location?
You can change the location of your Mac by System Preferences > Language and Region (for example United state)
it will change your Time colander etc to the us standards.
try changing your Apple ID Location ( if not able method not worked)

I was referring to my specific region, within the United States.
I am in the SF Bay Area, but anything local on my computer shows up as the Nashville area.
I'm able to stream, locally, on my iPhone, but not on my computer.
I cannot find anywhere to change that setting.
