opening an embroidery file with .webloc extension

I have no idea how to open this as a useable embroidery pattern

iMac 21.5″, macOS 14.6

.webloc files should open in the browser (you should be able to double-click it), then go to the specified URL in the browser. If indeed named as presented, then the file is only a pointer to a web page, not a useable embroidery document itself. Presumably you would be able to find your wanted file on that web page to download. Whether this is intentional or not, is something that your contact should be able to tell you.


If you want to inspect it first, then you should be able to drag-and-drop the file onto a text editor (e.g. BBEdit) to have it show its content, and decide if it is what is expected from a trusted .webloc file.
