You have been backing up the iPhone regularly.....correct?

Did you make a backup of the iPhone before you erased it, either on your computer or in iCloud? If you did, then you can restore your iPhone using that backup. If you did not make a backup, then other than any data you would have had stored elsewhere such as in iCloud, your data is gone.
