I wanted to give my sister my macbook and I can't restart it, I just get "activation failed", what should I do, please help.

You need to input your Apple ID and its password to unlock activate your MacBook Pro.
Erase your Mac and reset it to factory settings – Apple Support (AU)
This is a disgrace. Brand new MacBook... Bricked. No comments from Apple so far even though several people are having the same issue.
I don't know. This might be my last Mac if Apple doesn't fix this ASAP.
