iPad and Apple TV not syncing and can’t use Airplay from my iPad 3rd. Gen

Same Apple ID, same wireless, worked before, but Apple TV not picking up my iPad. iPad is paired to Apple TV.

I’m stumped. Both devices have been rebooted and reset.

Apple TV not showing up on AirPlay I recently bought this Apple TV (model number A1427) secondhand and reset it. All features work except for AirPlay and Screen Mirroring, the Apple TV just doesn't show up on my Phone on both share options. However the Apple TV does show up when i try to use my phone as a remote. Also a strange thing is that the Apple TV says it failed activation. Just for the record i am connected on the same network, apple tv is on its latest possible version (7.9 - 8163), and the hdmi cable works for sound and display.

Airplay/Apple TV not showing up Hey there, my Apple TV (3rd gen.) suddenly stopped showing up in the Airplay section/share section on my iPhone 13 Pro. This happened after I unplugged and changed the Apple TVs HDMI into a different HDMI port due to not having sound. Now that I have sound, the device stopped showing up on my iPhone and all other devices. I unplugged and reset everything and it still doesn’t work. Anyone who knows what else I could try? Kind regards

maybe try restarting the wifi router
