How much does it cost to replace a Mac Pro screen?

Hi all,

Trying to work out whether it is worth getting my Mac repaired. It is an M1 13" Pro 2020. I woke up one day and there were lines all over the screen like I had dropped it. It was working perfectly a couple of hours previously so not really sure what happened. There is no damage to the casing or any of the external components just the inside LCD panel seems to be damaged.

Any idea of how much this costs in the UK to get repaired? (images attached)

An apple-owned store can provide a FIRM (no surprises) estimate of that cost, and will provide that estimate for you, free, with no obligation to proceed with the repair.

But the Genius Bar technicians who do those evaluations are crazy-busy, so an appointment is required. Proceed as if you have a hardware issue, which you do. Bbut know that there is no obligation to complete the repair -- the choice is yours.

Sorry, Apple is not here. We are users like you and you posted in the US community. We would not have any idea what repair costs are in the UK. Contact Apple or the Apple store and ask them.

Thank you for your response. I'm aware that I'm asking fellow users, but I'm querying those who may have had previous experience with getting their screen repaired so I have some idea of cost before going in store. As far as I'm aware there isn't a UK-specific support community hence the post specifying my location.
