After reloading app and connecting to TV provider the app works for a while and then freezes.

Send a report to through the app. There should be a way to do that. Try to provide as much information as possible. Such as, how long until it freezes, what page you were on when condition happens, etc.
Maybe freezes because they are trying to increase the appearance of unique visits to the app.
