iPhone volume increases overnight

I am absolutely baffled by this. I have an iPhone 15 Pro on 17.6.1 and the volume turns up by itself overnight. Every night. Just overnight, not in the day, so I essentially can't use the alarm unless I want to have the LIFE frightened out of me each morning. It does it when on MagSafe charge, on USB-C charge, on no charge. With or without the case on. I've tried it face down so it's not the attention setting, whatever I do it changes the volume from a sensible level to Louder Than Satan. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Most Bluetooth audio devices have an inbuilt feature that stores the last volume used.

For example, if you connect Device D1 to Bluetooth Audio Device A1 and set the volume to your preferred level, the next time you reconnect D1, it will remember that volume setting. However, if you connect a different device, say D2, to A1, you might experience either very high or very low volume, depending on the volume level previously set on D2.
