In my software update area, there is no option to update to IOS 18. I've already checked my phone, it will be compatible, I've already restarted my phone, I've already freed up enough space, and I've waited after the designated time (10 am Pacific Time, 8 pm my time). What should I do?

The update is available. You may see an option to install iOS 17.7, which you can install to get the security features of iOS 18 while staying on iOS 17. But swipe up to the bottom of the page and you'll iOS 18.
What happens when you try?
Can you post a screenshot of the whole screen, it could reveal why you aren't able to update.
Make sure you:
• Are using a WiFi connection (not a hotspot).
• You have an active cell signal (You need both WiFi and cellular service to perform the upgrade).
• Are not using a VPN connection.
• Have your battery charged at least 50%. Better yet, keep it plugged in during the update.
• Do not have power save mode turned on.
• Do not have a beta version installed.
• You have at least 10 gigs of storage available.

i have the same phone with the same problem and by battery and connections slate fine but the only update available is iOS 17.7
