even though i had removed all ESET apps and programs i had to manually remove the Filters under Settings\Network\Filters because they still contained to ESET entries (as i mentioned earlier). After removing them manually i got my internet access back!

I upgraded my Mac mini with Sequoia and restarted it. After that, I lost the connection. I am unable to connect to the Mac mini via HDMI, and it’s not showing up on the Mac Pro’s network.

However, I can see that the Mac mini is connected to Wi-Fi and appears in the router's admin console.

AppleCare couldn't resolve the issue and has scheduled a face-to-face appointment. It’s strange that they missed something so small.

Please look at your anti virus software installation. If it has ESET go to network settings and under filters delete the entries , only then, your machine will connect to internet. By disabling it will not.

I had similar issue and Apple Care set up appointment and luckily after seeing the entries in the forum i could resolve the matter successfully

All the best

<< are there still network issues happening? >>

there were never Network issues happening.

Some users unwisely installed ESET anti-virus, and in addition to intolerable scanning of files for no benefit whatsoever, it also added "filters" that interfered with proper operation of macOS Networking.

By far the easiest way to cause poor performance, instability, overheating and crashing is to install ANY third-party speeder-uppers, Cleaners, Optimizers, or Virus scanners, Bit Torrent, or a VPN that you installed yourself.

if you have any of those Installed, they will increasing make you miserable. That is NOT a defect in MacOS, its an error in choosing who you Trust.

"Everything you need for proper, safe operation of MacOS was shipped in the box, except ONE item-- that is an external drive on which to store your backup copies. A Very good Utility to make that Backup, Time Machine, is already built in."
