How to get RCS messaging on?

I upgraded my iPhone 15 Pro to the official public release of iOS 18, and turns out that when I go to Messages settings, there’s no option for turning on RCS messaging.

Then it's probable that your cell carrier is not yet supporting RCS, or is limiting it to only certain devices. Check with your carrier.

My carrier is AT&T and after updating to iOS 18 RCS was already enabled by default. I didn't have to do anything. Who is your carrier?
