How to reset Apple ID password if "iPhone Locked To Owner"

So, I have had a iphone 7 since 4-5 years ago and 2 years ago i gave my phone to my grandpa and he changed the apple id and other stuff and a couple of months later he had broke the screen and gave me back the phone, so i tried to reset the apple id but i dont know the password and i asked him and he doesnt know/forgot it. I then factory resetted it using my macOS and now it shows this, can someone help me can someone help me?

He will have to recover access to his Apple account. He can start here: https://iforgot.apple.com

Failing that, without the receipt, the device is a paper-weight. There is no way to bypass the activation lock.

Do you by chance have the original purchase sales receipt for the phone? We ask because Apple will require this if you want to go through an Unlock Request with them.

You can try resetting the password to the Apple ID used to lock the phone:

If you forgot your Apple Account password - Apple Support

If you are unable to, then that iPhone is almost certainly now useless and can be sent to recycing.

Then unfortunately, gone are the chances to get the phone working again.

Sorry, but Apple won't help unless you can provide proof of ownership.

I bought the phone about 4-5 years ago, maybe 6, and it was also in a different place we had already moved away from that place so the reciept is probably long gone.
