WILL THE NEW AIR PODS WORK WITH AN IPHONE 13 PRO MAX THAT IS UPDATED WITH iOS 18?

I’m upgrading my phone to 16 pro max and I want to give my iPhone to my mother and buy her the new air pods for the hearing aid feature.
