This doesn't work. Clicking on Gatekeeper only takes me to the section but doesn't provide any more alternatives than was already there.

Uhhh... Not true. I wouldn't be on this thread if it were.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have worked. In privacy, I have Allow Applications from Anywhere selected, and I still cannot open my .dmg file

I think that is probably the right thing actually. There is a newer version that is 100% sequoia compatible but it just screws up my machine and is constantly syncing.

that would be awesome. I am currently in limbo so there is something stuck somewhere.

Are you saying the script I posted did not work?

Did you just paste the script and not the whole text Beginning with "set and ending with "extension"
