Tell the bank that Apple products don't require that. If they insist, click here and run the tool on the MacBook Pro; Apple's sandboxing prevents any similar product for the iPhone from checking anything other than its own documents.

My bank told me something like that, and I called up their support and pressed them:

"If their web access was so poor it was subject to random attack, I told them I was changing banks."

They confessed, very embarrassed, that the add-on malware scanner was a simple money-maker for the bank. Their online access was not weak, and running that added software was not actually required.

I never added that software, and, I have had no issues whatsoever.
