Major Sound payback Issues since updating to Sequoia

Hi all,

Since updating to Sequoia, I have experienced major issues with sound playback issues, it appears to be system-wide issues as I have tested audio playback via several methods.

Problems seen so far -

  • Not able to change the volume of sound playback from a Keyboard or sound controls in System Settings
  • Only able to control sound level via the Control Centre
  • Playback of sound via AirPods 2 and Airpod Pro Max poor, broken speech and repeated in other applications, for example, Music, Zoom, Facetime, etc
  • Playback of Audio from a Studio Display Speakers is not recognised and will not play, have to default to the Machine's internal speakers.

Device issues repeated from MacBookPro M1 Pro Max Chip, M1 mac Mini and M2 Pro mac mini

I am having similar problems with the new Mac OS version (Sequoia 15.0). AirPod Pros don't work properly anymore. don't switch reliably anymore. Audio plays for a split second then stops, even thought Mac OS says it is connected to the AirPods just fine. I am having the same problem with multiple AirPods. My RHODE PODMIC USB also no longer functions as expected during meetings. Just randomly drops audio. As far as I am concerned audio is essentially broken in the current Mac OS version.
