I also have a Series 9 Apple watch which is a year old and 3 months.
Lately all I do is disable features. Unfortunately, the same battery drain persists.
I spoke with Apple Support they ran their diagnostics and found nothing.
Up until the updates I was fine with the Apple watch.
Now I am wondering if it is worth it at all.
The big drains show if you exercise so telling people not to use their phone, or not to do this and not to do that means you bought an overpaid watch only and even a Timex would have a battery that lasts longer if all you get to use this for is a watch!
So turning off features and not using your phone or not using it for distance walking or distance cycling seems kind of silly or is an admission that Apple has destroyed the value of an Apple watch and its time to find an alternative to Apple?
Seems Apple owes us better and a real solution instead of just selling updates and features that are useless in light of batteries which cannot support them.
I am pleading with Apple to respond.
I have yes used the feedback form with no response.
As indicated I called Apple Support and have no solutions. They act like they are surprised by the issue which says they are not hearing any of us.
