iOS 18 Home Screen Customise Icons: Tinted Sliders not working properly

So one of the things I’ve noticed isn’t working properly since installing iOS 18 on my iPhone (and iPad Pro) yesterday on launch day is the 2 sliders for Colour and Saturation to Tint the Home Screen icons:

Home Screen > Edit > Customise > Tinted

When sliding the colour up or down it doesn’t always change the icons to the correct colour especially if you move the slider fast. For instance if I’m on a blue colour and slide fast to red end of the spectrum it sometimes leaves the icons blue until I slightly move the slider again slowly and slightly within the red colours. Also the Saturation slider doesn’t work properly in a similar way in that if I desaturate a colour but then return to full saturation you can see it’s not as deep a colour as it was before adjusting it even though I’ve left it right up at the highest saturation end. So all in all very buggy.

This behaviour actually is replicated on my iPad Pro too when I use these Tint sliders so it’s not just an iPhone thing but a feature problem.

Who else has noticed this?

To end on a positive I do like how the initial Tinted colour selected has been chosen based on the main colouring of the wallpaper you have set at that time. Also like that the icon customisation is and remains linked with that wallpaper you have set up and chosen.
