After a 3rd reboot, I finally have my iPhone 14 behaving like it should again and I can type my times.

Where are you trying to type in the time? The only option I have to enter the time in a calendar event in Calendar is using the scroll wheel. There is no text entry box.

It's finally fixed by Apple in iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, which I believed was released on Monday, October 28, 2024.

I am experiencing the same problem. Multiple reboots have not resolved it.

Well, I guess I'll have to correct myself; it works for reminders, but doesn't in Calendar...
