Alert message: Apple could not verify "a video" is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.

I'm getting this message when trying to open some videos I have.

I understand this can happen with apps, but I'm trying to open a copy of a video I downloaded from Vimeo and the original is actually mine.

Why does this happen and how can I stop it? It's quite annoying.

Downloads from safari I downloaded a yt video on my phone. I was wondering if there is a threat for virus from downloading it from those “yt to mp4 converter” sites.
