I recently bought a new Magic Mouse 2 and yesterday I charged it for the first time, full at 100%.
Today I used the mouse and the battery level decreased from 100% to 83% - just in one day.
Is this normal?

It’s not unusual for a new Magic Mouse 2 to drop from 100% to 83% in a day of use, especially during initial use or if it's connected for long periods. The battery tends to stabilize after a few charge cycles. If the battery continues to drain quickly over time, you might want to check for any Bluetooth issues or reset the mouse
That it not normal. I would charge it back to 100% one more time to see if the problem persists.
Was it brand new? It may have been doing some calibration stuff behind the scenes and the displayed battery level was just incorrect.
Yes, the mouse is brand new, I bought it first days of August and the battery level was about 80% full when I used it for the first time (which is normal for an unboxed unit). The battery last until yesterday which I think is totally fine (about a month of usage).
It’s only on the first charge that I notice this fast decreasing, maybe it’s for the calibration you said.
You suggest to try to charge it again at 100% even if the battery level is 80%?
Or is it better to wait until the next charging when the battery is very low?
