iphone 15pro max running ios18 will not connect to imac ventura 13.7. I do not see any referrence if this is supported or not. My imac tries to connect via usbc but after a period of time says it can not find device, which is the iphone. Help?

If iOS 17 is any indication where an iPhone with iOS was cabled to a computer
At that time, Apple would offer some type of POP Up on the computer saying something like " as software update is need "
That Pop up from Apple was to install something need on the computer to Understand the New iOS 17
If I use the above and project this to the New IOS 18 - you may need to give this some time for Apple to roll out this
