I don’t understand that move Favorites to the middle of nowhere in Photos App. I use it every time when I open App. Now I need to scroll and find it. How bad was that decision by Apple Developers’ Team?

Photos changed for the worse, if it works DONT change it.

Well, you could read the instructions already posted that explain how to organize the Photos app. Here is an example of what I see when I open the Photos app, because I did read the instructions and moved things to where I wanted them:
1) you don’t know that they haven’t read the entire thread.
2) You may find it an improvement…others will not….and their opinion is valid. Please don’t make it seem as though it’s not
You can find it in pinned collections now. What a bad UX design!
i need to access favorites for important photos like my driver license number, credit card number, etc. I’m going crazy trying to locate them quickly and efficiently. Really dumb move, Apple!
The new photos format is a complete mess. Specifically where has ‘Favourites’ gone.

You might find it enlightening to actually READ the thread you just added to. The answer has been posted at least a dozen times in these 9 pages.
You would think that with this many negative comments Apple would roll out a fix right away.
i tried that and now I can’t see Favorites at all. I went back to Customize and Reorder and Favorites wasn’t even there, and I tapping and sliding the three bars didn’t do anything. AAARGH!
Ios 18 good but photos app not good please fix before same style this is not good and call Dialing WhatsApp not working etc
I was able to restore the Favorites album by enabling Pinned Collections but….really? Come on Apple, what’s the point?
Thank you simIANdisco. I hate this new update too. Apple please change this back so we can find our favorites etc albums.
Couldn’t solve it thanks for the help; really hate apple developers for thing this nonsense. Hope they fix it!
