I don’t understand that move Favorites to the middle of nowhere in Photos App. I use it every time when I open App. Now I need to scroll and find it. How bad was that decision by Apple Developers’ Team?

The explanation for how to find favorites has been posted repeatedly in this forum; just scroll to the bottom and tap Customize & Reorder to put any folder (including Favorites) wherever you want it. But the easiest way is to hold your finger on the Photos icon on the Home screen and choose Favorites from the floating menu that appears.

Yes, it can be a total disaster for anyone who doesn’t learn how to use the improved photo app, but by taking 5 minutes to learn the results will no longer be a disaster, but you may come to appreciate the greatly improved features of the new Photos app→Customize the Photos app on iPhone - Apple Support

Photos changed for the worse, if it works DONT change it.

As I already posted several times in the thread that apparently did not read before adding to it, If you take a few minutes to learn about the significant improvements in the Photos app you might see that it is a change for the better→Customize the Photos app on iPhone - Apple Support. I certainly find it highly configurable, and much easier to use. It did take about 5 minutes to learn, however.

The iOS 18 photo layout is a big step backwards. Ive had the update for months and I still can’t navigate it effectively. Why would my favorites be so difficult to find? The old way was so much easier.

I was able to restore the Favorites album by enabling Pinned Collections but….really? Come on Apple, what’s the point?

Apple doesn't read here in this user-to-use forum for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:

As you apparently did not read the thread you posted to, which describes several ways to find and relocate the Favorites folder, I’ll tell you one of the several ways: touch and hold the Photos icon on the Home Screen, then tap Favorites on the floating menu that appears.
