Apps missing after updating to iOS 18

I'm on similar situation, my Widgets of Widgetsmith turned into black and they do not appear anymore. And it doesn't appear neither on "Add widget" when I edit home screen. Is it happening to someone else?

I think the issue is with legacy widgets. I lost mine too. For example, PCalc had a nice calculator you could use right on the widget screen, but since it doesn’t use the new widget format, it is gone along with a few others.

All of my Legacy Widgets (including my RBC banking preview) are all gone. It was a nice transparent background (for all of them) appearance too. I am really ****** off by this. Why change something, if it isn't broken?? It worked fine. I have an iPhone for aesthetics.... and yet Apple keeps compromising the aesthetic. For instance, the Control Centre looks like garbage now. It's way too small! And the layout options are HORRIBLE. Seriously Apple.

My daughter had an iPhone SE 2022 model and when she moves to find an app or game on her pages it’s glitching and these are not visible but are there so if you click where that app is it’s opening them up. Now wondering if I have to buy a new phone as this has only been since the new update

I loved seeing my event and trip countdown in widgets, but I updated and it disappeared. I went to add it back but it doesn’t show up as an option. I went to notifications to see if that was the issue but it still didn’t show up. Hopefully a fix can be found at one point.

I'm a bit confused. All home pages have the icon dock at the bottom on an iPhone.

Unless you are referring to the Widget screen, in which case that's not a Home Screen technically. You can add widgets to it by pressing and holding on one Widget until the menu pops up and then on "Add widget".

You can also drag any widget from a ny Home Screen to the Widget page.

Just put your finger on one of the App icon or widget and drag it to the side of the screen towards the other page you want it on, the screen should sipe over, you can keep doing this until you reach the desired page and you can drop it anywhere you want on that other screen.

Yeah I lost Google keeps widget, even after upgrading keep from Appstore

Yes!! That was it!! Sleep focus made some apps and tiles disappear! Thank you for the heads up. And it accurately’ put away all my usual or stressful apps ( banking, work, finance, … you get the picture) now it is actually helping me get to that sleeping!!

This happened to me as well. I was able to swipe down to search and found the app there. I was able to select and hold and an option was available to add it back to the home screen. I did that and it is now back on the home screen. I don't know enough to describe the problem.

The Globe icon where you can switch to other language keyboards is gone!! Apple please restore this cannot communicate anymore. Thanks

Both ATT app and Appstore app disappeared while attempting to buy something (using uPhone 15 pro max on IOS18) first ATT app disappeared, then while trying to restore it from Appstore, it also dissappeared - where did they go ? Restarting phone did not help.

Birthdays at Glance (Facebook) is missing on iPhone 15 Pro Max lock screen widgets when I updated to iOS18. It is not listed anymore.

Do you have sleep focus on? Happened to me and they all came back once I turned sleep focus off.

Thank you! I had an entire page of apps disappear. Turned off sleep focus and it came back!
