no luck updating iPad Pro M4 to ios18. first got 'try again later' screen. it will not verify the update and proceed. then connecting it to my Mac I'm getting "declined to authorize this image on this device for this user" screen on my mac

Apple has pulled the iOS 18 update for the M4 iPad Pro due to issues with it causing serious problems for some users. Wait until you see an announcement that the update is once again available. When that will come out is unknown at this time.
