Trying to Mirror iPhone on Macbook Pro

I'm curious if there's an obvious problem with the setup process for mirroring an iPhone, or whether I've just gotten "lucky"...

I just upgraded my 2024 MacBook Pro to Sequoia, and the first thing it tempted me with in the "look what's shiny and new" video was the iPhone Mirroring feature. My problem is that once I open up the guide to start the process and hit the "Continue" button, it does nothing (other than for a fraction of a second flash the initial message screen) and return to the same screen and "Continue" button over and over...

I've got my phone next to the computer, Bluetooth and WiFi are active on both iPhone and MacBook, and I'm stumped. Any ideas?

I've been looking over various settings, and found that "Find My Mac" was off... so I turned it on. I then went back to the "iPhone Mirroring" app and it worked. I have no idea whether there was something else going on, or whether turning on "Find My Mac" did the trick; all I know is it's now working.
